11-5-12 Colorado Winter Wheat Crop Condition Update

In the November 5, 2012 Crop Progress Report, USDA NASS estimated the Colorado 2013 Winter Wheat crop at 88 percent emerged, compared with 77 percent last week, 96 percent last year at this time, and the five-year average of 95 percent.

Six percent of Colorado winter wheat was rated very poor, 22 percent was rated poor, 45 percent was rated fair, 26 percent was rated good, and one percent was rated excellent.
