National Wheat Foundation Project Manager

The National Wheat Foundation (NWF) is looking for a project manager. The is a contract position reporting to the CEO of the National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG).

The project manager is responsible for the operation of the National Wheat Yield Contest (NWYC) along with the management of the NWF Board of Directors’ operations, and project development based off the National Wheat Action Plan. NWYC is a contest that will help increase U.S. wheat growers’ productivity to ensure an ample supply of quality U.S. wheat to reliably meet the needs of the domestic wheat market and our foreign customers.

The NWF Board of Directors consists of nine members, including five farmers, a miller, a baker and two agribusiness company representatives. In addition, to the NWYC, the liaison will manage all committee administration and projects for the board of directors as well as coordinate external communications.

The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with extensive experience in the agriculture sector who is detail-oriented, has strong interpersonal skills, and is able to manage multiple moving pieces and tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
