There is not much change from last week’s report, but one notable update is that the “Poor” category in this week’s NASS report increased from 11% to 18%. Temperatures were closer to average for this time of year. Some isolated areas did receive rain. According to CoCoRahs, the highest rainfall totals were observed in Cheyenne and Kiowa Counties. From April 23-April 25, 1.22 in. was reported in Cheyenne Wells and 1.16 in. in Chivington (NE of Eads).
