Colorado Wheat Outlook – July 8, 2022

Harvest continues to progress, however recent rainfall has caused some delays. Temperatures near 100 degrees are in the forecast for the weekend, meaning that will speed things up. Swathing is also occurring in Northeastern Colorado to help mitigate damage from the wheat stem sawfly.  Read the full report here.

Colorado Wheat Outlook – June 24, 2022

After a week of extreme heat, wind and no rain, crop conditions worsened. Not optimal weather for grain fill.  The crop is also starting to change color and is 2% mature. Harvest is anticipated to begin in Northeastern Colorado in roughly ten days.  Read the Full Report Here
